Wisconsin’s Resort Town of Lake Geneva is warm & welcoming and the perfect setting for our Get Away. Gentle Yoga movement classes, Meditation Classes, and more are in our Yoga Retreat Room overlooking the sparkling Geneva Lake. And, space & time in the schedule to get your projects done! (or, leave it all behind, and have time for You!)

Our all suite hotel overlooks the Lake and the Lake Path. Our Yoga Retreat room overlooks Geneva Lake, and is a delightful place any time of day or night. And, we have a sunset yoga scheduled with a view of the sun setting over the lake. We’ve hosted prior retreats here and The Bella Vista Suites is a relaxing retreat location with indoor fountain, spa services, and more.
Who is this for? You, if you are feeling overwhelmed and needing to get away. We will offer Gentle Yoga, both on the mat and in chairs. Meditation, Reiki, Gentle Yoga, a flexible schedule. If you’re feeling stuck or heavy with stress and the cares of the world, this is for you. If you’d like to just Breathe and Be present, this is for you. If you’d like to be in community with like-minded professionals moving toward creating more joy in their life, this is for you.
The Schedule:
Includes Gentle Yoga classes (on the mat or on a chair), meditation classes, Reiki, self massage using Yoga Tune Up balls, and more. Mats & yoga props will be provided. You will have the luxury of time: to meditate quietly in our Retreat room between classes, for a spa treatment at the Bella Vista, time in or on the Lake, quiet time on your mat in our room, journaling in the Himalayan Salt Sauna, doing whatever You choose to do; taking time for You.
Our thoughtfully planned schedule includes gentle yoga (both on chairs and on the mat), welcome gifts & surprise gift, a balanced variety of classes and free time, all with the goal of helping you leave stress behind; and with the goal of helping you feel Great both inside and out.
The tentative schedule includes abundant free time for You, and: Day 1: Joyful Start of the Day Yoga, Meditation, Picnic in the Park, Labyrinth Meditation, Dinner prepared by local Chefs using local ingredients, Sunset Yoga while watching the sun set over the lake. Day 2: Joyful Start of the Day Yoga, Reiki, a short guided Lake Path Walk, journaling by the Lake, Laughter Yoga, Meditation & Gentle Yoga.

Price:
The Retreat price of $300. includes two days of Gentle Yoga, Meditation, Laughter Yoga, Reiki, a Welcome Gift, light healthy snacks & tea, a Coregeous Yoga Therapy Ball, and our Sunday group dinner made by local artisan Chef Joyce Lande. Space is Limited. We are choosing to keep more space and limit the number of participants for your safety and enjoyment.
Meals (other than the Sunday dinner) can either be on your own or take advantage of the fruit and snacks in our Retreat room. For lunch on Sunday, many of us will be placing an order with Simple Cafe (locally sourced foods) and it will be boxed up & brought to us so that we can have our Picnic lunch by the lake, on the veranda, on the lawn, wherever you’d like it.
Sunday’s dinner will include vegan cuisine prepared by local Chef Joyce Lande.

We have a discount on our reserved block of rooms. Contact Bella Vista Suites directly to reserve your room and mention Workplace Wellness Yoga Retreat for the discounted rates. You can also reserve Spa services directly through them. Himalayan Salt Sauna, Wi-fi, hot tub, & swimming pool are all complementary.
Transportation is on your own. MKE – General Mitchell International Airport and ORD – O’Hare International Airport are both options.
All payments to Workplace Wellness Yoga are non-refundable. Standard Waiver of Liability needs to be signed prior to participation.

The Instructors
Dorothy Robin
Certified Yoga For Healthy Aging, Certified Yoga Wellness Instructor, Certified Roll Model Instructor, and currently enrolled in a 4-year Yoga Therapy course of study, Dorothy has been practicing yoga since 2001 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher through YOGA ALLIANCE.
“Avid Native Plant Gardener – both in my yard and helping restore nature preserves by removing invasive species and planting native plants. I love swimming and have a passion for helping adults & teens afraid of the water learn to swim. Also active in the community through having mentored others in the Toastmasters program, and with LGMC (Leadership of Greater McHenry County).”
Dorothy has studied anatomy and movement with Judith Hanson Lasater, including studying Judith’s advanced Shavasana, Judith’s Moving from the Organs, and Judith’s Advanced Yoga Anatomy. She has also studied with Tom Myers Anatomy Trains fascial work. Dorothy currently studies with Amy Wheeler and other Yoga Therapists at Optimal State, and is training to become a Yoga Therapist.

Mojisola Edu
Mojisola Edu is the Founder of the She Wins Network, She Wins UNConference, and Love Energy Services (Holistic Services). She is an award-winning Media Personality and has interviewed A-list stars such as Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Kevin Hart. She is a Disabled Army Veteran and former unhoused veteran. She is an MST survivor and works with those with trauma. Her story appears as a case study in Yoga and Resilience: Empowering Practices for Survivors of Sexual Trauma (Handspring, July 2020). She has a BA in Business Administration. She is a veteran’s transitional coach and mentor, yoga instructor, author, global speaker, veteran advocate, and certified Well-being life coach. She served on the advisory board to create the women veterans license plate for D.C. and wrote a Proclamation honoring women veterans in 2018 and 2019. Mojisola is a highly sought mentor for veterans in transition at Veterai.com and Dog Tag Inc. She also facilitated a healing journey based on ancestral work and Reiki at Omega Institute for Holistic practices. She has also, worked with Metro United Girls Soccer Academy providing an embodied practice on and off the field. Mojisola believes that “The most courageous thing a person can do is decide to heal. With healing, you find clarity and compassion for ourselves and others. We must begin with forgiving ourselves for things we had and didn’t have control of and that’s where we find peace, for we are a work in progress.”
